Sub-Zero Bonding
qzen42 feels
Yesterday, I went sledding with my 5-yr old son. It was the 1st time he *asked* to go, and the experience was quietly exhilirating for me, causing me to wax nostalgic about such outings with *my* Dad. There was just something fine about the crisp December day, and the rush of chilly air past our cheeks as we descended a short ridge in the park near our house.
It's hard to capture the feeling in words. It has something to do with playing and laughing together and the trust of your son as he huddles in front of you on the sled. It's the thrill of hearing him utter those three immortal words: "Do it again!!"
Good, clean fun.
breathe.
evolve.
laugh.
